Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2025
1. Introduction
CuddleForge (the "Company" or "We") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes:
- The types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you visit talkingmario.com (our "Website") or purchase our Talking Mario plush toy (the "Device").
- Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies only to information we collect on the Website and in connection with the Device, and in email, text, and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with the Website or Device.
This policy does not apply to information that we collect offline or on any other websites, or to information you provide to or that is collected by any third party.
Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the Website or the Device. By using the Website or purchasing the Device, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Section 10). Your continued use after we revise this policy means you accept those changes.
2. Use of Our Website by Minors Under the Age of 18
The Website is not intended for minors under the age of 18. It is intended for adult parents or guardians who wish to purchase the Device for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 18 via the Website. All purchases must be made by an adult.
3. Children Under the Age of 13
Our Device is designed to be used by children. We take the privacy of children very seriously. This section describes our practices regarding children's information and prevails over any conflicting section in this policy.
A. Information We Collect from or about Children
Children interact with the Device primarily through voice. When a child speaks to the Device, their voice is temporarily processed to generate a conversational response. We do not store or retain voice recordings or conversation transcripts. Audio is processed in real time and immediately discarded after a response is generated.
We do not require children to submit any personal information to use the Device. Any personal information a child may mention during a conversation (such as their name) is processed only to generate a response and is not stored.
B. How We Use Children's Information
Voice input from the child is sent to a trusted third-party AI provider solely to generate a real-time conversational response. The audio is not retained, analyzed, or used for any other purpose — including AI training. The third-party provider does not retain this data beyond the duration of each interaction.
C. Disclosure of Children's Information
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer children's personal information, except as required by law or to protect the safety of a child or others.
D. Parental Rights
Parents or guardians may contact us at any time to ask about how their child's information is handled, or to request changes. Please write to us at info@cuddleforge.com.
